as you go

Give it up. Hand it over. Let it go… and it will come.
This is certainly something that takes a tremendous amount of practice, a keen sense of awareness and trust in a something bigger than yourself. Call it God, trust in Buddha, whomever you’d like. There is certainly some solace in knowing that there is a fate or a destiny far greater than you can imagine for yourself. Now it’s a matter of the “coming to“.
If you are like me, you like to have control. To make precise, thought out decisions and  sometimes even resort to your wow factor when the circumstances call. If you weren’t responsible for your part in this picture, who would be? Do the best you can and trust in that. The rest isn’t up to you. (Breathe) It also isn’t anyone else’s right to sway you in any particular direction. “Re-examine all you’ve been told, dismiss what insults your soul”. People mean well- we’ve talked about that, but sometimes their meaning well seems intrusive or insulting and you aren’t exactly sure why. Take it or leave it, it’s your decision. Own that power. REFRAME it. Put in a suggestion box in your brain, just don’t take it to heart. Try anyway.
Don’t seek all the answers. We don’t have them all. I don’t care if your a sorcerer or a savant, there are many mysteries meant to stay exactly as they are-mysteries. Sometimes you’re supposed to keep guessing. Then you can marvel when the answer is revealed to you in some way/thing/person. Let it tap you on the shoulder, so you can be surprised. Live opportunities not consequences.  Learn in every situation you can, seek those.
Come to your life, as you go.
One of my favorite songs- Rascal Flats seems very appropriate here…
“My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you’re out there getting where you’re getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too”
